Having dropped Beth off at the airport, we’d already decided that today we wanted to make our way back to Germany and eventually Austria. Han had found through the park4night app a place to stay in Germany at a bike park. We didn’t expect much but set off on the Czech back roads regardless. After watching other people use the Ski lifts, we decided to pay for a days pass each so that we could use the bike park. The park had an offering of green (easy), blue (a bit more difficult) and black routes (suitable for teenagers who have no regard for their own safety). The lifts have a hook that you can attach your bike to, allowing you to just ride the downhill sections… Read More

We actually decided to return to Rogla, a) because it was free to stay with all the services we need and b) because we wanted to do more of the walking paths/cycling this side of the mountain.
